Chitrakoot is a significant religious and cultural region spanning parts of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, revered in the epic Ramayana as the place where Lord Rama spent part of his exile. It is known for its ancient temples, sacred sites like Ram Ghat and Janaki Kund, and is considered a sacred place for Hindu deities. An unrelated but sometimes confused location is the Chitrakote Waterfall in Chhattisgarh, which is a major waterfall often called the "Niagara of India"

After breakfast at the hotel drive to Chitrakoot. According to Hindu Mythology Lord Rama, Sita and Lakshmana spent eleven and half years of their fourteen years of exile. Visit Ramghat, Kamadgiri, Bharat Milap, Janaki Kund, etc. Rest of the day at leisure
